Amazing Butrint - the greatest archaeological attraction of Albania, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Fragments of walls and two towers have survived to our times, and today a restaurant was built inside. The first tower offers a beautiful view of Lake Butrinit, the island of Corfu and the surrounding mountains. Get a glimpse of what Albania has to offer on a tour. The unique, historic city of Gjirokastra (UNESCO) and the Blue Eye one of the most beautiful natural places in Albania. The road to Gjirokastra leads through the picturesque Muzina Pass. From here, you can reach the enormous castle-fortress through charming, cobbled streets. The castle fortress was built in the Middle Ages, but at the beginning of the 19th century it was completely rebuilt. Inside there are, among others a collection of weapons from World War II, an American plane, a stylish clock tower from the 19th century. From the tower you can admire a beautiful view of the city s old town, and in the distance you can see mountain peaks reaching over 2000 m. The Ethnographic Museum is located in the building where the dictator Envera Hoxha was born and lived. There you can also see what the former estates of the inhabitants of Gjirokastra looked like. The sources of Syri and Kaltër are called the Blue Eye. It is a real miracle of nature underground springs reach a depth of over 45 meters and amaze with their amazing blue color.

Greek Parga
